For 37 combined years, Paul and Marquel Forbes have been writing personal and commercial insurance in Virginia. They have done it from separate offices, under separate legal entities, with one shared team.

Paul D. Forbes, Inc. opened in Reston in 1999 and has anchored the practice from the Reston Parkway corridor ever since. Forbes Insurance Agency, Inc. followed in Broadlands, where Marquel has spent more than a decade building her side of the practice. The two offices operate independently, but they pool their staff. An agent at one office can pick up the phone for a client of the other, pull the file, and keep the conversation moving. Clients do not get bounced between strangers.

Between the two offices, the practice writes a full range of personal lines (auto, home, life, condo, renters, boat, motorcycle, and ATV) alongside commercial lines (general liability, commercial property, business auto, workers' compensation, BOP, and umbrella) for small business owners across the region. Licensed in Virginia, Maryland, DC, Delaware, and West Virginia. More than seven hundred clients have left reviews. The agents whose names are on the door are the same agents reading the policies and writing the coverage.
